VA Beach

Before we started on our way to VA Beach we made sure it would be a nice, comfortable ride.  We bought a new car!  Ben's car was falling apart and not safe to keep driving so we finally caved and replaced his very old car with a very new car.

Ben and I had a 3 day weekend in January so we headed to VA Beach with the Tracys.  We stayed right on the beach. 

While we were there we played lots of games, went to an aviation museum, Ben disc golfed 3 times. and found delicious places to eat.

Ben's birthday!

Ben wanted a KitchenAid Mixer.  Yes, BEN wanted one.  He got it before Christmas because our friends gave us an awesome deal on it. 

The color was his favorite part (or just mine!)

I officially earned lame wife award this year when Ben made all our friends poppy seed bread for Christmas and even delivered it.  The only thing I contributed were the tags with our names on it.  We received many texts raving about the bread and I had to admit it was all Ben. :/

We have more than 4 friends!  This picture was taken AFTER we made deliveries.

Ben's actual birthday and even the birthday week was pretty crazy for us so Ben got a brownie trifle a week late to celebrate his birthday.
